One game that some members of 5B worked on is Skee Ball. The game is made out of cardboard. The person playing the game has a little ball, which they roll up a ramp and try to get into one of the holes cut out in the back of the ramp. All of the holes are a different amount of points. Like the basketball, depending on how many times the player rolls the ball into a hole, they get a certain amount of tickets. On the side of the game, there is a little button and if you press it, it makes a little noise. The button is used if someone gets a ball into a hole. Skee Ball was one of the first games in the arcade, if not the first. A lot of time was spent on it, and the time payed off.
Whack-A-Mole Tickets
Whack-A-Mole was one of the first games. The point of the game is to hit one of the targets (made out of ping pong paddles) with a crumpled up piece of paper. There are two people standing in a big cardboard box moving around the ping pong paddles, so that it is harder for someone to hit the target. The makers of Whack-A-Mole had to be very creative because there was never any game that was similar (or at least that we know of), and no games inspired the makers of Whack-A-Mole to make the game. A lot of hard work was put into the idea other than just the physical game. There is a sign that has jaw dropping illustrations, and it says “Whack-A-Mole”.

What do you call an arcade without tickets? A bad arcade! Our arcade is an amazing arcade, which means of course we have made tickets. Many different people have made tickets, including me. Making the tickets is simple: you take a piece(s) of paper, cut out a bunch of mini squares, and write a number depending on how much the ticket is worth. There is a ticket worth 1 ticket, 5 tickets, 10 tickets, 100 tickets, and, although it's they're hard to get, a ticket worth 500 tickets. There is a ticket deposit so if you have, for example, 5 ones, you can trade that in for a five. No one has to pay tickets to play a game, in fact you can tickets by playing and winning a game. You are probably wondering what the tickets are for because they aren't for games. The tickets are for prizes that are bought with tickets. The more tickets you have, the better prize you can afford and buy.

Slap ShotOne of the games that are still in progress right now is Slap Shot. The board is a huge piece of cardboard wrapped in duct tape. The game is very similar to knock hockey, as it has small circles for the puck and it is about the same size as knock hockey. Slap Shot also has the same rules as knock hockey. The sticks are made out of Tropicana bottle caps glued together, so they kind of feel like air hockey sticks. We are very proud of this game because it took a lot of hard work, materials, and time.
